The worst movie ever!
We had our exam today. I feel like I did really well. Hopefully we’ll find out next week sometime. We’re going to Buenos Aires tonight! I’m so excited. Allyson and I finished packing, and then we went to Carmen’s house to catch a remis with her. We picked up Jessica on the way.
When we got to the bus terminal, we paid the taxi and grabbed our bags. And while I was grabbing my bag, someone was grabbing my cell phone! Yeah. I had my phone in my coat pocket and when I turned to pick up my suitcase someone reached in and grabbed it. One of the guys that was up the stairs from us saw him do it, and when I got to the top of the stairs he told me. But by that time it was too late to do anything. We talked to the security people, but the boy denied taking the phone, so there was nothing they could do. It was completely ridiculous. I would rather someone have taken my phone and run than stand there and deny it knowing there was nothing I could do about it! Grrr. But hey, at least it was just my phone and not my wallet or my camera. The phone cost like 110 pesos – maybe $40.00 USA. So I’ll get another one on Monday.
Anyway, after that fiasco we all got on the bus and got ready to go to sleep. We ate random bus food – which is essentially equivalent to airplane food – and then they put on a movie called “Firstborn.” It was the weirdest, creepiest movie I have ever seen! Allyson and I couldn’t go to sleep because this crazy woman was burying her baby in the backyard! Agh. So yeah, I didn’t get a lot of sleep on that bus. Who picks these movies anyway?!
