This morning I got to sleep in! I don’t have class until after lunch on Thursdays (YES!) so I woke up in time to talk to Andrew and eat lunch. Then I left for school... I had History and Spanish, both outside! It was absolutely beautiful today. I love sunshine!
After class, we hung out and made weekend plans. Tomorrow I’m going with Fran to the Dino (Dinosaurio Mall) because neither of us has ever been. Then tomorrow night, we’re celebrating Christina’s birthday with an asado at the Residence Hall (that’s where she lives). Saturday is the hike in the Sierras Mountains, which lasts all day. Then we’re planning to go out to eat together again Saturday night. Sunday I’m thinking about trying out this new Protestant church, but we’ll see – I have MOUNTAINS of homework, including a project that’s due Monday that I haven’t started. But I’ll get it done. I always do...
Anyway, then I came home and got ready to go to the tango show! A few of us went out to a restaurant on Rafael Nuñez first, just to hang out and eat French fries and fruit salad. Then we went to the tango show place downtown. The place itself was actually pretty cool – they had live music (a saxophone player and a guitar player), so that was nice. We got there around 10:15 pm, but we didn’t end up eating until around midnight. After we ate, they came out to do the tango show... It was awful. LOL The couple was composed of a nice-looking, maybe late 20’s girl and a very short, old man. They did one show dance, one dance with the guests, and then left. Leah danced with the short old man, which was very funny because she was at least a head and a half taller than him... But we had fun, anyway.
