Oh, Nico...So I didn’t get to go to Kung Fu last night, but I’m hoping to go next week. I went with Allyson to our photography class, where it still wasn’t the right class. They finally fixed the schedule today and it turns out the class is on Friday mornings. No thanks!
Then I had History and Spanish. It’s really funny to me that we are studying the same things in History and in Literature – I think it’s a really nice parallel. It gives the Literature more context, I think.
There was supposed to be a tango show tonight, but it was cancelled and rescheduled for next Tuesday. I didn’t want to stay at home, so I called Allyson and we went over to Nico’s. Nico is Julian’s tutor. He’s from Rosario, which means he has a different Spanish accent, and he’s such a sweetheart. He’s kind of crazy but really funny, and I definitely think he has a crush on Allyson. Anyway, he cooked us pizza and then we walked around downtown. He lives in Nueva Córdoba, which is an awesome location to just be able to chill downtown. Then we went back to his house and watched Transformers – in Spanish with English subtitles. It’s a really good movie! It made me cry. (And no, not all movies make me cry, thank you very much!)
We didn’t finish the movie until around 4:00 am, so I came back home and went to sleep. No class tomorrow!
