This morning we didn’t get back to the bus station until 10:30 am, and Shino and I both had horseback riding at 11:00 am, so we had to go straight there.
Horseback riding was okay... I was wearing my little tennis shoes instead of riding boots, but it actually made me more aware of where my feet were, because I couldn’t cheat. Riding English is kind of frustrating for me, but I think it’s going to be really good in the long run.
Then we waited 30 minutes for a remis that never showed up, so I went with Allyson and lugged my bag a few (hundred) blocks up to the nearest busy street corner and we hailed one. I got home around 12:45, showered, grabbed some lunch, and left for school at 1:15 pm.
I had History at 2:00 and then Spanish at 4:00. They were pretty good – no one was very prepared, since we’d all been traveling, so I’ve got a lot of homework to catch up on. I also confirmed my schedule with Alfredo. I’m taking: Modern History of Argentina (3), Literature of Argentina (3), Advanced Spanish (3), Typography (3), Tango (1), Horseback Riding (1), and Technology of Graphic Design (1). It’s going to be a lot of work, but I think it’s also going to be a lot of fun! (Oh yeah, the numbers in parenthesis are credit hours.)
Hopefully next semester I can take Italian at the school – if not, there are private language schools that teach it... But at Blas Pascal is so much easier. I’m also hoping to take a Photography class (3 credits) next semester. This semester they only offered the second part, so I wouldn’t have been able to keep up. And maybe that Adobe Illustrator class. Maybe.
After class, I came home, did some laundry, ate dinner, did some homework, TALKED TO ANDREW (finally) and now I’m going to bed! :-)
