This morning I had Typography at 8:45 am. It was a good class. I got kind of frustrated during one part because the teacher was giving instructions for the practice that we have to turn in, but they have all done these practices for a whole semester so he didn’t really explain what it was or how to do it, he just gave the specifics. So I was madly scribbling random Spanish notes that made absolutely no sense to me... But Pilar and the teacher explained it to me after class, so we should be good.
Then I left the school and went to the Movistar store. My cell phone STILL wasn’t working! It turns out that the phone won’t read the SIM card... so I had to exchange my phone. And pay the difference for the more expensive one, which was the only one they had left. This place is so ridiculous. But hey, at least I have a phone! And with no more problems, it should work tomorrow morning.
Then I came home, ate lunch, and went back to class. I had Literature, where I turned in my essay (for corrections) and we talked about the Romanticism movement in Latin American literature – especially poetry. After that I went to tango class, where I got extremely frustrated because I couldn’t keep up. But it was okay, because no one else could keep up either, so we ended up having to go back and do it all over again. That was fine with me! The more repetition, the better.
I also checked out the schedule of aerobics classes at the school gym... There’s one on Monday that’s the only one that fits my schedule, but I don’t know what it is yet (step, kickboxing, etc.). I guess I’ll find out next Monday! LOL Also, on the way to Vicky’s party on Saturday, I passed a Tae Kwon Do studio! Her house isn’t TOO far from mine (maybe 10 mins in a taxi) so I’ll have to find out exactly where it is and what the classes look like and all that. Maybe next week sometime...
