This morning I had class at 8:45 am. The one where I had to turn the project in. I turned in what I had, about half... I didn’t feel too bad, because half of the class had nothing to turn in, and half of the ones that turned something in did it wrong. So he gave us an extension.
After that, I hung out at school, ate some lunch, and went to aerobics class. Mary Marshall and I were the only ones in the class... But it was a great class! My abs hurt like crazy.
I had Literature class at 3:45 pm. We are still talking about “El Matadero” – it’s a really interesting piece! We have to write an essay on it next week. Oh joy.
After Lit, we all hung out until Tango class! It’s actually going pretty well. I still mess up a lot, but I’ve got the basic steps and rhythm down.
After Tango, I had Kung Fu. The class actually starts at 8:00 pm (the same time that tango ends) so that’s not too good. But oh well. I got there about 20 mins late, just in time to finish warm-ups. It was a different teacher tonight, one of the black belts, but he was really good too. We worked on punches, front kicks (with some back-and-forth), and self-defense. I think Kung Fu is really going to help me. And the people are so nice!
After class, I walked with Matias, Frederico and Marcos to the bus stop. I took the bus home and got back just in time to eat some dinner, take a shower, and go to bed!
