Can you believe these gorgeous buildings?
Today I got up very early to do that homework I was going to do last night... (Some things never change?) Then I walked to Allyson’s house at 9 am. I met up with Allyson, Gabi, and Jessica, and we took el colectivo (the bus) to a parada (stop) near the Banco Nación where we had to turn in our comprobantes (money to process our student visas). Gabi helped us navigate. It took like 3 hours to get through! Then we finally left the bank and went to la UBP (the Universidad Blas Pascal, my university here) for the city tour.
We took a tour of downtown Córdoba – it was really beautiful! There are some amazing buildings here... And everything is so old! The cathedral and some of the government buildings were started in the 1600's. Sometimes it's weird to walk around and go shopping in stores that are located in buildings older than my country...
After that we ate lunch in the school cafeteria and went to our first Culture class. It was a little boring at first but also a good class. I really like Prof. Herrera.
After class I went with Allyson and Carmen to the Disco supermercado so that we could buy some little hygiene things. We have plans to go out tomorrow night with Vane y Vicki (tutoras) at 10 pm.
