Me, Amelia (a girl from the program who studied a semester in Italy and speaks Italian - and Spanish - and English - very well!) and Viki (Amelia's tutora) at Bajo FondoI had my first clase de equitación – horseback riding class – this morning! They ride English here, which is much more difficult for me, but hopefully I am going to learn how to do it well. If I make a lot of progress, I might even get to learn to jump!
After that, I came home and ate lunch with Vero, Jorge and Valentina. I had class at 2:30 pm, I made it into the upper level in the qualification so that was good! We worked with a map of Córdoba for a while, learning our way around downtown and all that.
After class, I went shopping for a sweater, but I bought a cell phone. YAY! So they are going to activate it tomorrow. And Dad’s card isn’t working, I don’t know why... Maybe they lost it in Buenos Aires?
Anyway, then I came home and took a shower and got ready to go out to dinner. I went to Bajo Fondo en el centro with Gabi, Allyson, Pau, Vane, Lu, Jen, Megan, Viki, and Amelia. About half and half students and las tutoras (Argentinian student mentors, girls from here who are also students at la UBP who are helping us learn our way around), so that was really fun. We definitely had a great time!
