Allyson (the girl who lives with the other half of Vero's family, and practically my new sister) at the boliche
Slept all morning, and it was amazing. Vero’s mom made lunch for us, but since Valentina was still sick Jorge brought it back to the house. Then went shopping with my parents and to see the University, but we couldn’t get into the school because it was Sunday. Then we came back to my host family’s house and drank maté and socialized. Then we took my parents to the hotel because there were no remises (hired cars) to be found. On the way back we picked up one of Jorge’s friends from the Air Force and took him to the base (because, again, there were no remises).
Then Allyson and Carmen and I went out dancing, but there were NO people! We don’t know why. Usually, when Monday is a holiday, everyone goes out Sunday night. But we went out pretty early, we were in the discoteca (place to go dancing) by 12:30 am, which is usually when people here are finishing dinner on the weekends. So we'll try again next weekend, I'm sure...
