My host family: Vero, Jorge and Valentina
Today I met my host family, Jorge and Verónica Gregorat, and their 2-yr-old daughter Valentina. They are so nice! We live in Urca, a neighborhood in the middle of the city of Cordoba, about halfway between downtown and the school. I have my own bedroom AND my own bathroom, which is awesome! Vero and Jorge are a very young couple, and we only live a few blocks from Vero's parents - she has 3 younger siblings who still live at home, and also another exchange student from my program!
My parents flew to Córdoba with me so now they are here on vacation. I got unpacked and all that important stuff. I had dinner with my host family and their friends, Nati (Natalia) and Lisandro, and their 2 kids Mateo (4) and Lucas (1). It was really fun! The schedule here is a little strange. We didn’t have dinner until like 9:30 pm - which is really early for them, and their friends were here til at least midnight, maybe a little after. They left “early” because of Lucas, his bedtime is around midnight. So is Valentina’s.
