Mary Marshall at equitacionThis morning I went an hour early to equitación so that I could take the bus with Gabi and Allyson. We walked like 20 blocks from the bus stop to el Encuentro. It’s not worth it, honestly. It costs like $5 pesos to take a cab. So anyway but horseback riding was amazing!
Then I took a shower and had lunch here at home... Verónica made an amazing tart with squash and cheese. I could eat it every day! She’s going to give me the recipe.
Then I had Language and Culture class – we talked about Generation Zero, the plague of hopelessness, and about the exam tomorrow.
After class I went to the gym and worked out. It was excellent! I didn’t get a really good cardio workout in this time, but I did a lot of strength training (biceps, triceps, legs and abs). Hopefully next week I can go for a good cardio workout. Two of the girls went running, but I don’t think I could keep up, and I really don’t like to run. But it was a great workout.
Then I came home and hung out until everyone got home – they had gone grocery shopping. We’re about to eat dinner. I’m going to bed early, we have our exam tomorrow afternoon so I’m going to sleep in a little and then get up and study.
