This morning I had horseback riding at 11:00 am. I slept in until then, which was really nice. I also got to ride a FANTASTIC horse today. His name is Taraguí, and he is definitely not a lesson horse. He is beautiful and extremely responsive and loves to go. We didn’t get to gallop or jump today because the arena was a huge mud puddle from all the rain, but it was wonderful to get to really ride.

Magda, the Argentinian girl who is in our horseback riding lesson, gave us a ride home and we exchanged phone numbers. We are going to try to go out to dinner with her tomorrow night. I’m excited to be making real Argentinian friends!

After horseback riding I came home, did laundry, and headed to class. We have our History midterm next Tuesday (the day after I come back from Iguazú). The class was pretty much a review of what’s going to be on the exam and a chance for us to ask questions.

Then we had Spanish, which was boring. We have that midterm next Thursday, and I think it’s going to be the worst one out of my CRI classes. (My Typography midterm will definitely be worse, because it’s a lot more information plus a practice work to turn in, but the class is so much better that it will probably actually be easier.)

After class, Anne and I went to the study room in the residence hall to study for Literature. We studied for about an hour, and then decided to go to Sepia Fotocafé near Fran’s house. It’s an Internet café, and it’s so cute! Anne and Fran go there all the time. I had never been, but I really like it. I made a History study guide to study on the way to and from Iguazú, so I feel a lot better about that.

Then I walked down the street to the Disco grocery store and bought a few things. I’m trying to drink more orange juice here to keep my Vitamin C up... I would hate to get sick again.

Then I came home, ate dinner, and worked on my history paper that’s due tomorrow. Now I’m headed to bed!
