Yesterday we had the international expo to show off our tango, folkloric and horseback riding skills. The tango actually went REALLY well. Bryan was my partner, and he’s a fantastic dancer, so that helped a lot. The folkloric dance, which is called la ranchera, was fun. We always enjoy that one more! It’s kind of like square dancing, it’s pretty easy and we did all right. We did mess up on one part (very noticeably, as you will notice in the video, LOL) but it was fine.

The horseback riding was awesome! I did some nice jumps, and one of my friends took some videos, so you even get to see me! :-) We are still jumping really low cross-rails, but it was a good show. Mary Marshall jumped some nice high ones. Some of the people got pictures, and it looks like something out of a horse magazine. I’m actually going horseback riding this afternoon for a few hours with Tomomi and Shino. Since I obviously haven’t ridden enough lately... Hahaha Although I’m firmly convinced that it’s an addiction, the more I do it the more I want to!

Last night I went to the youth group at church, which was pretty good. It was a really small group this time since this weekend is Mother’s Day here. Then I went over to Bryan’s house with Leah, Russ, Fran, Christina, and Amy and her sister Sarah who is visiting from the states. We hung out there for a couple hours just eating ice cream and talking. Then we met up with Johnny, Adrian (Bryan’s friend) and the Brazilian girls from UBP at Bar Brasilero to learn some Brazilian dances! It was a great night. We finally came home around 6:00 am. We passed people leaving their houses to go to work, the birds were chirping, and it was light outside by the time I got home. I love Argentina! (Photos on Photobucket in "Out With Friends.")

Fortunately, I’m already awake and have written a Lit essay and a History essay. I’m about to go eat some lunch and go on a trail ride! I love Argentina...

PS – Okay, so I can’t upload videos to Photobucket anymore. So you don’t get to see me dancing and jumping. They have upgraded their upload program, so I need XP to upload. I will try to upload them at school sometime this week...
